Mabel’s Labels

Our school is fundraising with Mabel’s Labels! If you’re not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they are personalized, durable, waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, clothing tags, water bottles and backpacks. You can customize them with your name and a design, and they are dishwasher, laundry and microwave safe.

To support our fundraiser, visit campaigns.mabelslabels.com and select WOODBRIDGE FARMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SHERWOOD PARK). You can pick out whatever labels or product you want, and it will ship for free directly to your house! Thank you for supporting us!

Save the Date - Unpack your Backpack and Meet the Staff August 28

Next year our ‘Unpack your Backpack and Meet the Staff’ event will be on Wednesday, August 28 in the early evening. This will be a time when we invite families to the school to meet their teacher, bring their school supplies and unpack their backpack to get ready for the first day of school. More details will be shared in August.

WBF Year End Survey

We are almost at the end of the school year and like we did at the mid-point, we want to 'pause' and gather some feedback from our school families. As life-long learners, seeking feedback and reflecting on what we are doing helps us grow, learn and ultimately make Woodbridge Farms Elementary the best school that it can be. Your responses below can be anonymous if you choose and will help us to inform our planning for next school year. We appreciate you taking the time to answer the questions below.

OPPORTUNITY

2024/2025 School Supplies

We have arranged for School Start as an option for parents to order school supplies.

  • School Start guarantees their items for the entire school year;  if markers dry out or a binder breaks - School Start will replace them!
  • Supplies can be delivered to the school or your home.
  • The School receives $3/kit from all orders placed until July 31.

Please note: some grades have optional items such as wipes.  We're unable to add them to our list of required items but are used regularly in class.

To order, please go to: https://schoolstart.ca/store?s=1958

To purchase items elsewhere, please view supply lists on our Website.

Tools for School

Woodbridge Farms Elementary has once again partnered with the United Way for the 2024-25 Tools for School campaign. Annually, Tools for School provides backpacks and school supplies to students in kindergarten through Grade 12 whose families have limited resources. If you’re a parent or know a parent who needs access to the program, contact the school directly. Staff will discretely provide the backpack to the child at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.

Alternatively, if you’d like to donate to the program, you can pick up a few extra supplies when you’re out shopping for back to school in August. Drop-off boxes are located at the EIPS Central Services office, many Staples locations and various businesses in the community. Any supplies donated within the community are invested back into the region.

For more information about Tools for School, contact Christy Hinks at 780-464-3330 or call EIPS Central Services at 780-464-3477.
