School Council & Parent Association

Who’s excited about 2023-24 at Woodbridge Farms? We sure are!

A big welcome to all students, staff and parents/guardians for this school year.

We look forward to an exciting and fun-filled year. Woodbridge Farms has a wonderful school community with many talents to share.

As a parent/guardian you are automatically a member of the School Council and Parents' Association. Please feel free to join us at any upcoming meetings (that will be listed below). Please join us at the next meeting to actively take part. Parental involvement in our school is incredibly important and helps enrich the school experience for our students!

At the Parent Association meetings, you will learn about the many volunteer opportunities available to make your child's school experience memorable and exciting. Areas of focus include: hot lunches, school dances, Spirit Day lunch, fundraisers, and Wee Wonderland are all made possible because of our parent volunteers and those who donate and participate.

The School Council meetings are a great place for you to come and hear from the principal, teachers and other parents about what is going on in the school. You can listen quietly or come to share your thoughts to impact decisions about your child's learning.  The more parents that attend, the more diverse voices at the table, and the better experience our students will receive during their time at WBF.

There are multiple opportunities for parents and caregivers to get involved at the school. Below are the following committees and information on who to contact if you are interested in helping. 

Spring Flowers

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ❤️
We will need about 2-4 volunteers on Thursday, May 15 to help with organizing orders and pick-up. A sign up email will be sent out.

Harvest Basket
Ongoing 
We are looking for volunteers to help with securing cash or in-kind donations for our Harvest Basket that runs twice a week. We're also looking for volunteers to help prep food for the school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for 1 hour each day.

Mabel’s Labels
Ongoing 
Our school is fundraising with Mabel’s Labels! If you’re not familiar with Mabel’s Labels, they are personalized, durable, waterproof labels. They are great for everything from shoes, clothing tags, water bottles and backpacks. You can customize them with your name and a design, and they are dishwasher, laundry and microwave safe.

To support our fundraiser, visit campaigns.mabelslabels.com and select WOODBRIDGE FARMS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SHERWOOD PARK). You can choose whatever labels or product you want, and it will ship for free directly to your house! 

Wee Wonderland
Dec Annually

A big thank you to those that participated in Wee Wonderland in December 2023. It was a great success, and many of our students had the opportunity to shop for their loved ones. Thank you for your support.
